Project Architect – Mixed-Use Development

Our client is an International Architectural Design firm in the real estate industry, recognized for their innovative approach and commitment to sustainability. They specialize in large-scale mixed-use developments, incorporating commercial, residential, hospitality, and retail components. The organization values creative, high-quality design and technical expertise in delivering transformative projects.

Your Role

As a Project Architect for Mixed-Use Development, you will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale projects through all phases, from concept to completion. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical process, coordinating with clients, designers, and contractors, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and delivery of large-scale mixed-use and high-rise projects with commercial and residential components
  • Manage multiple projects and lead teams to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their objectives, market trends, and project needs
  • Oversee the project lifecycle, including estimating, coordination, client communication, and project close-out
  • Provide technical guidance, resolve design challenges, and ensure project specifications are met
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams, including structural, MEP, lighting, AV, and landscape consultants
  • Focus on sustainable design principles, working towards defined project sustainability targets in collaboration with clients and project teams
  • Mentor junior team members, ensure quality of work, and maintain clear communication throughout the team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the technical design and delivery of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects
  • Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (India)
  • Strong project leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing full project lifecycles
  • In-depth knowledge of India’s building regulations and standards
  • Experience with sustainable design and familiarity with LEED, WELL, Fitwel, or similar certification systems
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design software

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to develop technical documents and manage consultant teams to resolve design issues effectively
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Navisworks and Bluebeam
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, large-scale projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
