Job Description:
The candidate will own a product's functionality/areas end-to-end, from understanding customer’s pain points to working with tech teams for on time delivery. The candidate will work closely with senior management, editorial and SEO teams to understand, discuss and set direction for products & features that generate traffic and engagement.
The candidate would be working closely with software engineers, editorial, SEO & UX teams to deliver business requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Managing product requirements, competitive product analysis, market analysis, product adoption, and integrating with business, engineering and support teams.
Ideation of product design flow and conceptualizing solutions that are elegant, while being strongly data-driven
Using tools such as Google Analytics and Metabase for analytics
Project management with Agile/Lean methodologies
Build product roadmap & growth features for Mobile and Desktop Web and other consumer facing platforms
Work with UX design and engineering teams for on time delivery of the product
Work with analytics team to get and understand data to understand feature performance
Metric ownership and growth
Taking consumer and growth focused product decisions
Identifying key risks, dependencies and partner with cross functional teams to build product strategy and always keep shipping
Getting things done
Ideal Candidate:
Passionate about creativity and communication across multiple touch points.
Understand current and emerging data trends.
Ability to influence, motivate and advocate user needs to the team and key stakeholders.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, i.e. able to articulate thoughts and vision.
Excellent interpersonal skills - can communicate concisely and confidently at all levels.
Strong influencer and able to prioritize multiple projects.
Experience in scaling video adoption (YouTube/On-Platform) is an added plus
Strong bias for execution & getting things done.
