The Banquet Sales Manager will be responsible for managing customer service and sales activities for catering and banquet events. Daily tasks include planning and coordinating events, managing client relationships, overseeing sales strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction.Business ManagementDevelop strategies to maximize revenue from banquet sales. Provide forecasting reports and manage budget goals for the department. Analyze competitor offerings and effectively market the venue's unique advantages. Maintain an awareness of industry trends and customer expectationsSkills & QualificationsCommunication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal departmentsSales & Marketing: The ability to effectively sell, up-sell, and build lasting relationships with clients. Event Management: A deep understanding of event planning, execution, and coordinationCustomer Service: A commitment to providing excellent service and exceeding client expectationsTechnical Proficiency: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and event management platforms is beneficialExperience in Customer Service and Sales ManagementProficiency in Catering Sales and Event PlanningStrong Sales skills with a proven track recordEffective communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksExperience in the hospitality industry is a mustBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field
