You will be part of a growing team of specialists improving our support capabilities, capacity, and quality for our biggest clients.ResponsibilitiesAs a lead level III support engineer, you will work with other team members globally to provide top-notch support and product expertise to our biggest customers. You will be responsible for root cause analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting across multiple Atlassian products. You will also participate in customer-facing calls communicating progress updates, action plans, and resolution details.Qualifications8+ years of experience in Java support, software services, and system administration for large end-user communities.Expertise in operating systems (e.g. Linux, OS X, Windows)Experience being Subject Matter Expert in multiple Atlassian products Identify knowledge opportunities when new technologies are included and multiply the knowledge within the team (Synchrony, AWS, Azure)Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers at executive levels on in-depth technical details, progress, and next stepsAbility to solve complex tickets, summarise causes, recommend solutions, and escalate when necessaryCustomer focus and ability to be a voice of the customerCoaching and mentoring others on technical, soft skills, and behavioral interviews.Collaboration with global teammates to drive long-running tickets in areas of expertise to resolution.Challenge others to provide context and dig into tough situations.Experience with networks and technologies, including proxies, load balancers, LDAP, Active Directory, SSL.Understanding of application server technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, J Boss,)Experience with SQL databasesEscalation handling experienceEnterprise customer experienceBenefits & PerksWe offer a wide range of perks and benefits designed to support you, your family, and help you engage with your local community.
