Underwriting ExpertOur ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses of loan applications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lending laws.Strong understanding of the 4Cs of underwriting, including creditworthiness, capacity, collateral, and capital.Experience in end-to-end underwriting of conventional loans, including review of income and employment, credit strength, and property appraisal.Ability to interpret state rules, statute laws, federal regulations, and investor guidelines and apply them to specific loans.Working knowledge of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP).Good decision-making skills, including identifying red flags and approving or denying files accordingly.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.We offer a competitive package that includes night shift allowance and incentives.
