Talasha has been mandated to hire a Sourcing Head for an award-winning leather accessories manufacturing entity based out if Chennai. Spread across 5 factories & 2200+ people, they contract-manufacture for leading brands across United States, Europe and Australia such as Levi's, Columbia Sportswear, VF, Sedex, PVH and others. This role will head sourcing of raw materials & warehouse operations for all 5 of their factories.Responsibilities-Develop and execute strategic sourcing & purchase strategies for the complete range of raw materialsConduct regular supplier evaluations, including evaluation of manufacturing capabilities, quality systems and practices.Responsible for managing Inventory of Raw Materials including the management of all 6 warehouses and issues to ProductionHandle end to end of warehouse operations including inward logistics to optimize multi-modal transportationLead global sourcing initiatives. Identify and qualify new vendors from across geographies to diversify risk and optimize landed cost.Leverage the ERP & implement digital procurement tools and spend analytics to monitor price trends, demand forecasts, and vendor performance.Design and monitor KPIs such as supplier OTIF (On-Time In-Full), COGS reduction, and working capital optimization.Develop an efficient inventory forecasting process to have optimal inventory levels at all times & mitigate wastagesDevelop stringent SOPs on quality control of raw materials & create processes to mitigate quality issues & wastageManage contract negotiations covering pricing formulas, credit terms, and supply security clauses.Lead a multi-layer sourcing team, ensuring continuous capability building in procurement practices.Good to Have 10+ Years experience in handling sourcing of raw materials in complex industries such as auto/appliances etcExperience in managing warehouse operationsERP Savvy & strong analytical experiencePeople management skills to handle large warehouse teams & vendor relationsCTC - Upto Rs.30LPA (Basis last drawn)Location - Chromepet, Chennai
