Structural Design ExpertWe are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and analyzing structural elements within food and beverage manufacturing facilities.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs, specifications and BOQs for new facilities, expansions and equipment installations. This will involve performing structural analysis and load calculations for buildings, mezzanines, pipe racks and utility supports.In addition to design expertise, the successful candidate will need to ensure compliance with local building codes, food industry standards and safety regulations. They will also conduct site inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to design specifications.The role requires collaboration with project managers, equipment vendors and contractors during planning and execution phases. Experience in feasibility studies, cost estimation and risk assessments for structural scopes is desirable.To succeed in this role, you will need:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required;5–10 years experience in structural design and construction within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing preferred;Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit and MS Project necessary;Licensed Structural Engineer or equivalent certification a plus;Strong analytical, design and project coordination skills; knowledge of hygiene and food-grade construction practices beneficial.
