Job Title : Sr. Manager Corporate Relations ( Placement Officer )


Key Responsibilities


1. Industry Partnerships & Placement

  • Establish and sustain professional relationships with companies, startups, and organizations to secure internship and placement opportunities for students.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to understand their hiring requirements and align placement processes to meet those needs.
  • Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives, interviews, and placement activities.


2. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps in students and recommend targeted training programs to enhance employability skills, including communication, technical, and soft skills.
  • Organize workshops, mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and aptitude training sessions for students.


3. Student Guidance & Support

  • Provide career counseling and mentorship to guide students in identifying suitable career paths.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with students to understand their aspirations and tailor placement efforts accordingly.
  • Assist students in developing professional resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and portfolios.


4. Placement Data Management

  • Maintain accurate records of placement activities, student data, and job offers.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analyze placement statistics to assess success rates and identify areas for improvement.


5. Collaboration & Networking

  • Represent the institution at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to build professional contacts and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Facilitate partnerships with external trainers, mentors, and industry experts to deliver guest lectures and skill enhancement sessions.


6. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to established placement policies and guidelines.
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on placement statistics, student performance, and industry collaborations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in placement and training functions.
  • Established network within the corporate and industry sectors.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate events efficiently.
