Senior Search Solution Architect

Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Search Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced search solutions using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.The ideal candidate will have expertise in architecting and developing complex search features, managing index and template templates, and building custom query builders and search pipelines.They will leverage LLMs and AI for data enrichment and improved search relevance, as well as develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs for search using Python (FastAPI).Key Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Design and implement search solutions utilizing OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.Manage index and template templates to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.Build and optimize custom query builders and search pipelines tailored to complex business requirements.Leverage Large Language Models and Artificial Intelligence for data enrichment and improved search relevance.Develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs for search utilizing Python (FastAPI).Lead efforts in integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure reliability and accuracy of search features.Automate deployment and management of search infrastructure, including index templates and search pipelines.What You'll Do:Drive the development of search solutions that meet or exceed business expectations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize search feature requests.Implement and maintain high-quality search APIs and related infrastructure.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in search technology.Requirements:Requirements:5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on search or information retrieval.Expert-level knowledge of Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics.Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Bonus Points:Bonus Points:Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing concepts.Background in computer science or a related field.
