Role Overview :
The AGM Sales for the Ads Vertical will play a key leadership role, responsible for driving the sales strategy, execution, and expansion of our Click-to-WhatsApp ads solutions. You will lead the sales team, manage high-value client relationships, and drive revenue growth through innovative and targeted sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute the sales strategy for AiSensy's ads vertical, focusing on Click-to-WhatsApp ads .
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Establish key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to drive large-scale adoption of WhatsApp ads.
Identify new business opportunities and verticals that can benefit from Click-to-WhatsApp ad campaigns.
Create and maintain sales forecasting, budgets, and detailed performance reports for senior management.
Collaborate closely with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to align sales strategies and deliver seamless ad experiences for clients.
Keep the sales team informed on the latest ad trends, industry news, and innovations in digital marketing, particularly within the WhatsApp ads ecosystem.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet customer needs while achieving business objectives.
Ensure excellent client onboarding, ensuring optimal campaign setup, and post-launch success with Click-to-WhatsApp ads .
Represent AiSensy at industry events and conferences to showcase our ad solutions and build a network of potential clients and partners.
Required Skills & Experience :
7+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior sales role, ideally in a SaaS, digital marketing, or technology-focused company.
In-depth knowledge and proven experience with Click to WhatsApp Ads, performance marketing, and social media advertising platforms (particularly Facebook/Meta).
Strong ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving results in a competitive market.
Expertise in building relationships with senior-level decision-makers at large companies.
Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement data-driven sales plans.
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing sales pipelines, reporting, and team performance.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in managing high-performance teams selling digital advertising solutions, with a particular focus on Click to WhatsApp Ads or similar ad formats.
Deep understanding of the WhatsApp Business API and how it can be leveraged in marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of industries such as e-commerce, retail, education, and others where WhatsApp ads can significantly drive customer engagement.
Experience with large-scale ad campaigns and media buying processes.
