Role Overview

We are seeking a superstar Golang Backend Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our talented team in Chennai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge backend systems while contributing to the global future of intellectual property protection.


Based in our Chennai office, this role requires working closely with diverse international teams and markets, making cultural adaptability and global collaboration essential. This position offers exciting growth potential, including opportunities to work in our global offices in Poland, the United States, Latin America, and South Africa for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable backend code.
  • Develop and support backend software, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure backend projects meet business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Support the testing and deployment of new backend products and features.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior backend developers.
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of backend systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our backend systems remain current and robust.
  • Lead and manage a team of backend developers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in Golang or a similar backend language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java) with a willingness to quickly learn Golang.
  • Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and AWS (S3, Lambda, SES, SQS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Database Design.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing backend development teams.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Backend Engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in DevOps/Backend Deployment.
  • Proven expertise with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in team management and leadership roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Good-to-have skills: Proficiency in Python.
  • Good-to-have experience: Working with crons and ETL processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.


Salary Range: 12 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum, depending on experience.
