Position Overview:

The Director of Team Building and Morale will lead efforts to improve workplace culture and create a sense of belonging among employees. This role is designed for an experienced HR professional or people-focused leader who excels in organizing team-building activities, developing trust-based relationships, and fostering a workplace environment where employees feel valued and motivated.

You will act as the cornerstone of team cohesion, working closely with employees and leadership to create an engaging and enjoyable work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities: Team Building & Collaboration
  • Design and implement team-building activities and workshops to improve collaboration and camaraderie.
  • Create programs that strengthen inter-departmental relationships and encourage open communication.
  • Facilitate activities to celebrate milestones, enhance teamwork, and create a vibrant work environment.
Employee Engagement & Morale
  • Develop and execute initiatives to boost employee morale and job satisfaction.
  • Implement employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and foster a sense of appreciation.
  • Organize regular feedback sessions, surveys, and town halls to understand employee needs and concerns.
Trust & Workplace Culture
  • Build trust with employees through consistent, open communication and a supportive leadership style.
  • Create an environment where employees feel comfortable sharing ideas, concerns, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align culture-building initiatives with the company’s vision and values.
Leadership & Coaching
  • Partner with managers to provide coaching on team-building and engagement strategies.
  • Act as a resource for managers to address challenges in team dynamics and morale.
  • Train leadership on effective communication and relationship-building practices.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new employees feel welcomed and integrated into the team.
  • Maintain organized tracking of engagement metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Manage employee events and programs with attention to detail, timeliness, and alignment with company goals.
Qualifications: Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, team-building, or employee engagement roles, with a focus on culture and morale improvement.
Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing team-building activities and engagement programs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
