Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support the seamless execution of our internationally acclaimed Global Game Show. This role involves managing logistics, streamlining processes, and ensuring operational excellence to deliver a world-class experience for participants, partners, and audiences. The Operations Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of efficiency, coordination, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement operational workflows to support the production and delivery of the show.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Logistics Management:
- Oversee logistics related to equipment, personnel, and venue setup.
- Manage schedules and timelines to ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines.
Process Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Data and Reporting:
- Track key operational metrics and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Issue Resolution:
- Serve as the point of contact for promptly resolving operational challenges.
- Anticipate potential risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with production, marketing, and sponsorship teams to align operations with broader business objectives.
- Ensure effective communication between all involved parties to maintain transparency and alignment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, event management, or a similar role, preferably in the entertainment or media industries.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
