Accounting Manager Job Description:The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing excellent client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US accounting, experience with cloud accounting solutions, and excellent analytical and project management skills.Responsibilities include finalizing accounts, preparing financial statements, and managing month/quarter end journal entries.Prepare payroll compliance reports and ensure all sales tax returns are filed on time.Participate in external and internal training to stay up-to-date on industry developments and software certifications.Review workflow processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.Onboard new clients and assist team members with account setup and guidance.Lead by example, actively participating in team member training and mentoring junior staff.Manage and mentor a team of associates, senior associates, and team leads, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.Identify and resolve technical issues, anomalies, and non-routine items to ensure high-quality deliverables.Responsible for project management, quality control, review of deliverables, and embedding the principles of exceptional client service.Qualification:CA, Inter CA (Dropout), or CPA certification.Requirements:7+ years of experience in US accounting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Must have excellent client service skills, responsive to clients.Highly motivated, self-learner, problem solver.Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.Experience using cloud accounting solutions including QB, Xero, Sage, and Accounting CS.Minimum experience handling a team for 3+ years.Experience in direct US client coordination.Exposure and basic understanding of US GAAP accounting rules.
