Financial Operations SpecialistOur organization seeks an organized and proactive Financial Operations Specialist to oversee client billing, accounting processes, and related financial operations.The role requires collaboration with internal teams for accurate, timely, and compliant billing processes.Full ownership of client media billing, including monthly, campaign-based, and special project billings.Review and validate media plans, release orders, and vendor invoices before billing.Coordinate with media buying, planning, and client servicing teams to gather necessary inputs and ensure accuracy.Prepare and issue client invoices while ensuring proper accounting and tax compliance.Track credit notes, adjustments, and billing reconciliations.Maintain billing trackers and ensure monthly closure within timelines.Liaise with client finance and audit teams for billing clarifications and documentation.Support internal and statutory audits related to billing and revenue.Continuously review processes to improve billing accuracy and turnaround time.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of media billing processes across various channels.Good knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws.Proficiency in MS Excel and financial ERP tools (SAP / Tally / Navision preferred).High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.Strong coordination and communication skills.Qualification & ExperienceGraduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.5–8 years of relevant experience in media billing or client finance within an advertising, media, or marketing agency.Exposure to large FMCG or MNC clients will be an added advantage.Why Join UsOpportunity to manage billing for a top brand.Work in a dynamic environment with exposure to multiple channels.Growth-oriented culture with focus on learning and process excellence.
