Chief of Staff to the Founder Company: Late-Stage Fintech Startup Chief of Staff Reporting to: Founder / CEO We are seeking a high-capacity, strategic Chief of Staff to partner directly with the Founder of a late-stage Fintech startup during a critical period of scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can operate as a true force-multiplier—bridging vision and execution, improving operational clarity, and driving cross-functional alignment across a complex, regulated domain like fintech. Strategic Execution & Planning Convert the Founder’s fintech vision into structured operating plans, OKRs, and measurable outcomes. Drive strategic initiatives across product, risk, compliance, credit, GTM, and operations. Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across the organization and recommend data-backed solutions. Lead quarterly and annual planning cycles and ensure cross-functional alignment. Prepare briefs, insights, and recommendations for board, investor, regulatory, and leadership meetings. Ensure fintech-specific priorities (risk, compliance, regulatory requirements, fraud, payments operations) are aligned across teams. Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives Lead high-impact cross-functional projects such as: New fintech product launches Regulatory readiness initiatives Credit, risk, and fraud optimization Strategic partnerships with banks, NBFCs, networks, or ecosystem players Board, Investor & External Stakeholder Management Own preparation for board meetings—fintech KPIs, unit economics, risk metrics, and growth narrative. Coordinate select engagements with financial institutions, auditors, regulators, or partners. 5–8 years of experience in one of the following: ~ Venture Capital (with fintech exposure preferred) ~ High-growth startup operator roles (strategy, bizops, product, risk, or special projects—fintech experience a plus) ~ Exceptional communication—clear, structured, and executive-ready. ~ Comfort working in a regulated, data-driven, fast-moving fintech environment. ~ High EQ, strong stakeholder management, and ability to handle confidential information.
