Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior D365 F&O Technical Consultant to join our growing team at our Mohali office. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in D365 Finance & Operations development, strong knowledge of X++, C#, and SQL, and a deep understanding of system integrations, performance optimization, and Microsoft’s best practices. This role requires both technical expertise and business understanding to deliver efficient and scalable solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, customization, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.Develop and maintain extensions, integrations, and enhancements using X++, C#, .NET, and Azure technologies.Implement data integrations using OData/REST APIs, Business Events, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Azure Logic Apps.Create and optimize custom reports using SSRS and build analytics dashboards using Power BI.Work within Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and ALM processes.Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate them into efficient technical solutions.Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards, optimize system performance, and maintain solution compliance.Participate in the full implementation lifecycle, including design documentation, unit testing, UAT support, and deployment.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Core Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in X++, C#, and SQL with familiarity in .NET.In-depth understanding of D365 F&O architecture, data entities, and security framework.Expertise in designing extensions and avoiding overlayering.Proven experience in data migration, transformation, and integrations through DMF and APIs.Working knowledge of Azure services including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.Experience in developing reports and analytics using SSRS and Power BI.Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS).Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Functional and Soft Skills:Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Inventory.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Strong documentation, time management, and project execution skills.Ability to lead technical components in large-scale implementation projects.Why Join De Facto Infotech:Opportunity to work with a Microsoft-certified partner on diverse and global D365 implementations.Exposure to cutting-edge technology, continuous learning, and challenging enterprise projects.A collaborative and growth-driven environment that values innovation and excellence.Competitive compensation and career development opportunities
