Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled security architect to design and implement secure cloud-based systems. As a Senior Cloud Security Architect, you will work within a dedicated security engineering function to accelerate the delivery of creative and secure capabilities for cloud products.Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing security architectures for cloud-based systems, building security control frameworks, and generic reference architectures for cloud-based applications. You will also assist in identifying security requirements for Line of Business/Development teams when building cloud applications.As a key member of our team, you will perform risk assessments, threat modelling, and review existing cloud security architectures to identify potential areas of weakness or need for enhancement. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on cloud security status and issues.To succeed in this role, you must have experience in information security, software development processes, and public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. You should also possess knowledge of threat modelling methodologies like STRIDE/DREAD and experience developing reference security architecture and design patterns to support proactive and automated controls.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's Degree or industry equivalent work experience in cybersecurity, international security architecture, and/or engineering in a converged security program4+ years of Information Security experience in areas of Information/Cloud SecurityIn-depth knowledge of any public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and associated security risks and controlsDemonstrated knowledge of software development processes (SLDC/Agile/Iterative/DevOps)Experience of delivering security solution architecture from end-to-endThreat modelling using industry standard methodologies (e.g. STRIDE/DREAD)Security architecture assessments for one or more IT systems such as Web, Mobile, APIs/Microservices, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle)Experience developing Reference Security Architecture and Design Patterns to support proactive and automated controlsA demonstrated knowledge of information security standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality and other various security standards and policiesAbility to keep up to date with technology and security.
