As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of technology with retail operations, driving innovation, growth, and enhanced customer experiences.This role combines deep understanding of retail and technical acumen to redefine the retail environment. You will create value through innovative IT solutions, data-driven decision-making, and optimised customer engagement. Your focus will be on driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of best practices, processes, and tools across the organisation.Your Key Responsibilities- Identify opportunities to streamline operations across sales, inventory, and customer service- Support the implementation of data-driven methodologies to monitor, evaluate, and improve performance- Research and deploy emerging technologies and innovative solutions to enhance retail operations- Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in the competitive retail IT landscape- Act as a catalyst for change, supporting adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies- Facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams to foster innovation- Maintain project trackers and escalate any deviations from timelinesYou Will Also Be Expected To:- Engage effectively within your function and collaboratively across cross-functional teams- Contribute meaningfully to operational contributions and/or offer specialised expertise, guidance, and support to ensure alignment with either functional and/or strategic organisational goals and objectivesKey Functional / Technical Competencies- Understanding of Retail Technology Platforms- Data Analytics and Business Intelligence- Agile and Project Management Methodologies- Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word- Understanding of customer-centric IT innovations and data analytics- Stakeholder management capabilities- Proficiency in process optimisation, and performance measurement tools
