Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a backend developer at DigiStay, you will be responsible for developing scalable and efficient backend solutions that power our platform. If you are passionate about backend technologies and enjoy crafting robust APIs and systems, we'd love to hear from you.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side architecture using Nest.js and TypeScript.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT.
  • Build, test, and deploy APIs and microservices in a Dockerized environment.
  • Work with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB) for scalable data storage and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Optimize and enhance system performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Manage and deploy services on AWS and optionally Azure.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.


Requirements

  • Backend Frameworks: Nest.js, TypeScript.
  • Authentication: JWT implementation and session management.
  • Databases: MongoDB, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Containerization: Docker.
  • Cloud Services: AWS (Azure experience is a plus).
  • Programming Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
