About the role: As a Backend Engineer Intern, you will work alongside our experienced engineering team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development and deepen your understanding of backend technologies.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in the design and implementation of backend services and APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
- Help troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
- Document your work and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
