Senior Associate - Statutory AuditWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Associate to join our Statutory Audit team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work products are essential.In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for providing support to the team manager on assurance engagement formalities, handling areas and work allocated, preparing audit work papers, and ensuring compliance with firm's policies and procedures.You will have the opportunity to participate in meetings with various teams, contribute to process standardization, and provide input on business and industry issues/trends.If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for auditing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key Responsibilities:Performing testing procedures including substantive and controls testing, vouching, verification, etc.Providing necessary support to the team manager on assurance engagement formalities.Handling areas and work allocated including testing and relevant assurance procedures.Preparing audit work papers and ensuring compliance with firm's policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.Managing and supervising junior team members including article staff.Acting as a single point of contact (SPOC) for the team with the client in terms of data flow, communication, coordination, and discussions.Coordinating with internal and external teams including client personnel for information/data.Supporting the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues, and research solutions.Supporting the team manager in project management, preparing status updates, compiling requirement lists, etc.Participating in meetings with various teams and contributing to areas and responsibilities handled.Understanding business and industry issues/trends.Ensuring timely delivery of working papers as per defined timelines.Ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality, and risk management procedures.
