Role Overview: The Category Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for specific categories within our offering's portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of B2B marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Conduct market research and analysis to deeply understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape within assigned product categories.
Define target audiences, buyer personas, and segmentation strategies for effective marketing campaigns.
Positioning and Messaging:
Develop clear and compelling positioning and messaging for the product categories to differentiate them in the market and resonate with target audiences.
Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and demand for the product categories.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align go-to-market strategies and ensure effective campaign execution.
Content Development:
Develop a content strategy for the product categories, including whitepapers, case studies, blogs, videos, webinars, and sales collateral.
Create high-quality content that educates and informs target audiences about the benefits and use cases of the product categories.
Sales Enablement:
Develop sales enablement tools and resources, such as sales presentations, battle cards, and product demos, to support the sales teams in effectively communicating the value proposition of the product categories.
Provide training and support to sales teams on category-specific messaging, competitive differentiation, and objection handling.
Performance Measurement and Optimization:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of category marketing initiatives, including lead generation, pipeline contribution, market share growth, and brand awareness.
Analyze campaign performance data and market insights to optimize strategies and tactics for continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with product management, sales, marketing communications, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for category marketing initiatives.
Build relationships with industry analysts, media partners, and third-party influencers to amplify category-specific messaging and thought leadership.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on category or product marketing in the B2B technology sector.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for specific product categories or solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market research to drive strategic decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
