Medical Safety Specialist Role OverviewThe primary objective of this position is to provide expert medical input in the evaluation of safety data from various sources, as part of an integrated pharmacovigilance process.Conduct thorough medical reviews and clarifications of trial-related adverse events and post-marketing adverse drug reactions.Develop, edit, and medically review analyses of similar events for expedited cases.Review and verify adverse event coding, including serious adverse events and other medical data listings, to ensure clinical data accuracy.Key Responsibilities:Medical Review and AnalysisPerform comprehensive medical evaluations of safety data, including trial-related adverse events and post-marketing adverse drug reactions.Conduct thorough reviews and clarifications of medical data to ensure accuracy and consistency.Coding and Data ManagementReview and verify adverse event coding, including serious adverse events and other medical data listings.Ensure accurate and complete data entry into relevant systems.Collaboration and CommunicationWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of medical expertise into the overall pharmacovigilance process.Communicate complex medical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.Requirements:Education and QualificationsMD or equivalent medical degree required.Proven experience in pharmacovigilance or a related field.Skills and CompetenciesExcellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.Why Join Our Team?We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.Opportunities for professional advancement and continuing education.
