As we expand our digital footprint, we are looking for a Brand Monetization & PR Manager to strengthen our visibility and organic reach across web and app platforms.Role Overview: The Brand Monetization Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate revenue from the company's assets, products, and services. The incumbent will be involved in identifying new revenue streams, managing advertising and partnerships, and optimizing existing channels to increase profitability while maintaining a positive user experience. Job responsibilities: The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following –[A] Brand Monetization: Strategy and opportunity building: Analyze the market, benchmark against competitors, and create a roadmap for monetization initiatives. This involves defining the brand's overall monetization strategy, prioritizing opportunities, and aligning them with business goals.P&L ownership and revenue targets: Take responsibility for achieving and exceeding revenue targets. This includes developing pricing models, creating revenue forecasts, and optimizing monetization funnels using data and analytics.Business development and partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and build strategic relationships with external partners, advertisers, and agencies. This can include partnerships for advertising, content, e-commerce, or other revenue-generating collaborations.Monetization channel execution: Oversee the implementation and optimization of various monetization channels, such as subscriptions, in-app purchases, advertising, and sponsored content. This involves working with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively.Data analysis and reporting: Utilize data analytics to track key metrics (KPIs), analyze user behavior, and measure the performance and ROI of monetization campaigns. Prepare regular reports and use insights to drive decision-making.Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer experience, to deliver monetization initiatives and ensure they are aligned with broader company objectives. [B] Public Relations (PR): Support in developing and executing integrated communications plans and related initiatives.Maintain and develop strong traditional and online media relationships.Identify, cultivate and manage high-level relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers and industry experts.Regularly localise, distribute, and sell-in press releases to media as well as pitch story angles to secure high-quality coverage for clients.Plan and manage media events and interview opportunities as needed.Liaising with relevant partners for special projects and events, or marketing collaborations and joint promotion opportunities.Update and maintain media profile and database.Required Qualification & Skills: Proven experience in monetization: 3+ years of experience in monetization, digital advertising, ad tech, or a related field, with a track record of driving revenue growth.Strong business and financial acumen: A deep understanding of business models, profit and loss (P&L), pricing strategy, and financial forecasting.Analytical mindset: Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions and optimize performance.Excellent negotiation and communication skills: The ability to build strong relationships with partners and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking: The drive to identify new revenue opportunities and build sustainable growth strategies, often in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.Technical proficiency: Familiarity with advertising platforms, ad networks, and monetization tools. Experience with data analysis tools is also often required.
