Procurement Strategist

Procurement Manager Position OverviewThis strategic role oversees all procurement activities, driving supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, purchasing governance, and end-to-end procurement processes.Develops and executes procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and requirements.Manages vendor sourcing, evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring across multiple categories.Leads contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.Implements procurement policies, risk controls, and compliance frameworks across global operations.Oversees purchase orders, supplier agreements, and procurement documentation.Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders to forecast needs and ensure seamless procurement support.Conducts market research, cost analysis, and supplier benchmarking to drive cost efficiency.Ensures ethical, transparent, and sustainable procurement practices.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in multinational or fast-growing environments.Strong negotiation skills with proven experience managing diverse supplier portfolios.Solid understanding of procurement governance, cost management, and vendor lifecycle management.Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and develop procurement dashboards.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Experience in service-based procurement (training, events, technology, marketing) is an advantage.
