Position title : Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Job location : Kochi, India

Qualification : Graduate / Post-Graduate in Food Science / Food Technology / Biotechnology / Fisheries Science

Experience : 12+ years of experience in Frozen Food industry

CTC : Open, based on experience


Roles :

- Overseeing and managing the food safety quality assurance program

- Developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures related to food safety, quality assurance, and food security 

- Investigates internal/external customer complaints, and provide recommendations for improvement and follows up on execution.

- Manage and update Standard operating procedures, standards manuals and operational tools that are related to food safety, product quality and regulatory compliance

- Responsible for overseeing and managing vendor development 

- Coordinate with vendors to ensure food safety standards are met.

- Make sure regular Vendor audit are done in vendor premises

- Ensuring distribution quality management program (DQMP)

- Conducting periodic inspections at hubs and branches to ensure the protection of finished products and adherence to standard requirements

- Lead food safety certification processes.

- Monitor and evaluate food safety performance metrics.

- Stay updated on the latest food safety regulations and best practices 

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.


Desired candidate profile :

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate in Food Sciece / Food Technology / Biotechnology / Fisheries Science
  • 12+ years of experience in Frozen Food industry
  • Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Should be open to travel on business needs
