Quality Assurance Manager

•Kochi, Kerala

Responsibilities
•Develop testing strategy, plans, estimates, and schedule, to support projects and product releases.
•Develop and provide training programs for the team on quality assurance principles, procedures, and best practices
•Collaborate with multiple development teams to ensure coordination of testing efforts to test plans.
•Develop templates, tools, metrics, & best practices for products to meet business requirements.
•Lead functional and user acceptance test cycles.
•Evaluate and/or implement tools needed for test automation and performance testing.
•Participate in reviews to ensure quality in the product - requirements, design, status, code.
•Provide documentation for release readiness of products or product features.
•Facilitate development/maintenance of quality control standards/metrics to determine improvement areas and strategies in the overall product development life cycle; define, execute, and report results of audits, identifying process gaps/quality issues, risks.
•Conduct internal quality audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement
•Investigate quality issues, defects, or customer complaints, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
•Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems (JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps, etc.)
•Basic understanding of web and mobile application development, architectures, and technologies
•Should have exposure to API testing using tools such as POSTMAN
•Experience with Selenium is a plus.
•Good knowledge of Networking and Operating system concepts
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Have a strong understanding of QA practices and approaches.
•Have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•ISTQB Certification is a plus
