Job Title: Tax SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled Tax Specialist to join our team and manage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals and businesses.Tax Planning and Compliance: Prepare and review US returns in compliance with federal and state requirements, including 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120 (W-2, self-employed, small business owners). Provide tax planning and savings strategies, including real estate tax planning and coordination/support for cost segregation work to accelerate depreciation.International Tax Services: Prepare and file expatriate/international returns and forms as applicable: 1116, 2555, FBAR, 8938, 5471; advise on tax treaties, residency issues, FATCA/FBAR compliance.Trust and Franchise Tax Returns: Prepare/review trust and franchise tax returns; support SALT compliance and state filings where applicable.IRS Representation: Handle IRS notices end-to-end, including penalty/interest abatements using POA. Represent clients before IRS Revenue Officers for Offer in Compromise and Installment Agreements; initiate Taxpayer Advocate Service cases when needed.Outsourced Tax Preparation: Manage outsourced tax preparation projects for US-based clients (coordination, quality review, and timely delivery).About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
