Gaysi Family, founded in 2008, is a media platform and community space for queer desis, amplifying individual voices and experiences from Southeast Asia. We encourage reflection and understanding of queerness as a philosophy and sensibility beyond sexual orientations and gender identities. At Gaysi we collaborate with brands and organizations to create gender- expansive and queer-affirmative media assets and events.
Gaysi Family also functions as a creative agency partner for other brands, where we design messaging, and full creative campaigns to drive partner brand awareness and visibility.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Brand Partnerships Lead & Manager who will drive brand outreach, secure collaborations, and oversee the development and delivery of marketing solutions. This role is both client-facing and internally collaborative - you will identify opportunities, pitch ideas, manage client relationships, and work closely with our creative teams and external collaborators to execute campaigns on time and to brief. Must be based in Mumbai, ideally in the suburbs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Outreach
- Identify and proactively approach brands aligned with our vision.
- Craft and deliver compelling pitches and proposals to secure new projects.
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of potential brand partnerships.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable creative briefs.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships to encourage repeat business.
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Work with internal creative teams to develop concepts, strategies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with external freelancers, vendors, and specialists as needed.
- Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met across all projects.
- Anticipate and resolve any project-related challenges.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years' experience in brand partnerships, client servicing, or account management - preferably in marketing, advertising, or media.
- Proven track record of securing and managing brand collaborations.
- Strong understanding of marketing for diverse and queer audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable balancing outreach and relationship-building with execution oversight.
- Passionate about LGBTQIA+ representation and inclusive storytelling.
Bonus Points For
- Experience in campaign strategy and creative development.
- Existing network within brand/agency ecosystems.
- Knowledge of social media and digital campaign trends.

Compensation: 7Lacs-9Lacs (annual)
