Fashion Designer – Hiring Description (Professional & Complete)We are looking for a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our clothing brand. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, fabric selection, and garment construction. You will be responsible for designing new collections, creating sketches and tech packs, and working closely with the production team to ensure high-quality final products.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop creative concepts and design seasonal clothing collectionsCreate detailed sketches, digital designs, and technical drawingsResearch fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettesPrepare tech packs for sampling and productionCoordinate with sampling, pattern-making, and production teamsSelect fabrics, trims, and materials suitable for each designEnsure designs align with brand identity and target audienceMaintain quality and fit standards throughout developmentRequirementsProven experience as a Fashion Designer (1–3+ years preferred)Strong sketching and digital design skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)Good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and trendsAbility to create tech packs and communicate with production teamsCreativity, attention to detail, and strong sense of aestheticsAbility to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred SkillsTrend forecastingPattern knowledgeColor theoryCommunication & teamwork
