Job Title: Financial Operations SpecialistAccounting is a crucial function in any organization, and as an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:• Financial Transactions: Perform daily accounting entries in Tally, including expense booking, income booking, purchase booking, and maintaining accurate classification of ledger heads to ensure error-free data entry.• Reconciliation Activities: Conduct periodic reconciliation of income, expenses, bank statements, vendor and customer balances, and GST reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Statutory Returns: Prepare statutory returns, including monthly GST return (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) and quarterly TDS return, and assist in handling GST and TDS queries and maintaining working papers.• Documentation: Maintain systematic and well-organized physical and digital documentation of all accounting records and coordinate with internal departments to resolve document-related and accounts-related discrepancies.• Support: Assist in month-end closing activities and MIS preparation when required and support the Accounts Manager during internal/external audits by providing required information and schedules.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (Travel industry experience preferred but not mandatory).• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.• Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST & TDS).• Strong attention to detail and discipline in following SOPs.• Ability to maintain organized documentation and meet deadlines.
