Program Management Office Lead

The PMO Lead will be responsible for overseeing the project management office functions within the Cybersecurity function. This role requires a dynamic individual with at least 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity project management and a good understanding of Cybersecurity Technologies and Processes. Experience:Minimum 8+ years of experience within the Cybersecurity industryDemonstrated experience in leading project teams and managing project portfoliosProven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the Cybersecurity domainExperience in driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Roles and Responsibilities:Lead the project management office, ensuring the successful delivery of projectsDevelop and implement project management processes, methodologies, and best practices to drive efficiency and effectivenessProvide strategic direction and oversight for project portfolios, aligning them with business objectives and Cybersecurity prioritiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Cybersecurity requirementsEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancementEnsure compliance with Cybersecurity standards, regulations, and frameworks while executing project activitiesIdentify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues and challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverablesPrepare project governance trackers and project status updatesLead project governance meetings, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior leadershipMentor and coach project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the project management officeContribute to the development and enhancement of Cybersecurity project management capabilities, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends
Education Qualification:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fieldMaster's degree in business administration (MBA) or related discipline (preferred)
Certification required:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification (preferred)
Behavioral SkillsLeadership and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical capabilitiesStrategic thinking and innovative mindsetAdaptability and resilience in a dynamic Cybersecurity environment
Technical SkillsAdvanced knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologiesProficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello etc.)Experience with Cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)In-depth understanding of risk management, threat intelligence, and incident response in CybersecurityExpertise in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
Non-Negotiable Skills:Proven experience in leading project management office functions within the Cybersecurity industryDemonstrated capability in implementing project management best practices and methodologiesStrong knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and regulations
