Job OverviewThe role of Software Engineering Team Lead is a senior position that involves being a core part of the engineering team. You will bring your valuable experience and knowledge to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team, as well as the technical quality of our products.This is a key role in helping us become more mature, deliver innovative new products and unlock further business growth. As a member of a newly formed India-based team, you will collaborate alongside our existing team based in Ireland.As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be tasked with delivering innovative new features and products that directly contribute to driving company growth across Europe.Reporting to our Team Lead, you will be a core member of both the engineering and business teams. You'll work across all our brands, helping shape their future direction. Collaborating with our Product Owner, you will ensure requirements are well understood and can be delivered to a high standard.Working as part of a team, you will help shape the technical design of our platforms and solve complicated problems in elegant ways that are robust, scalable, and secure.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and solutions.Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product requirements.Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand and address customer needs.Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:Significant experience as a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent.A strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.Experience working with complex and varied problems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to influence and persuade others by listening to their views, explaining your own thoughts, and working to achieve agreement.BenefitsAs a member of our team, you will have access to:Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.Flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools.What We OfferOur team culture is open, inclusive, and collaborative – we tackle goals together.
