Role details: Title / Designation: Director SQA Location: Chennai, Hyderabad Work mode: Hybrid Role & responsibilities: Lead the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team, ensuring high-quality delivery of projects, risk management, and adherence to standards. Oversee QA processes, frameworks, and reusable test artifacts, ensuring traceable and effective test plans and scripts. Provide strategic direction across program releases, managing resources, cost, scope, and risk while delivering executive QA dashboards. Drive automation initiatives, innovation, and process improvements, aligning QA practices with industry standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring on-time, high-quality program releases. Lead transformation and change management initiatives to align QA efforts with organizational strategy. Foster a culture of excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring continuous improvement and adoption of best practices. Candidate requirements: 18+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in the healthcare industry. Strong expertise in QA methodologies, automation tools, and hands-on resource and stakeholder management. Experience in diverse testing approaches and leveraging AI for automation. Knowledge of healthcare systems and MMIS is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives. Strong communication, innovation, and people development skills, with a focus on long-term impact and scalability. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
