Procurement Specialist Job DescriptionAs a key member of our global purchasing operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transactional purchasing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:Processing daily Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and reviewing requisition data for compliance with established business rules.Creating and issuing Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP and managing order confirmations and PO updates to facilitate smooth delivery and receipt of goods and services.Supporting sites in order management and goods receipting in SAP to confirm service or product delivery and ensure accurate inventory levels.Monitoring and directing invoice workflows to stakeholders and managing ad-hoc procurement requests from internal stakeholders to optimize procurement efficiency.Maintaining vendor and master data records, including creation, update, and maintenance via Master Data Online (MDO).Key skills required for this role include:Ensuring adherence to structured workfloWS with attention to detail and compliance.Acting as a trusted contact for site buyers and stakeholders to provide expert guidance and support.Managing competing deadlines and high transaction volumes while maintaining a high level of productivity.This is a mid-level position requiring a strong understanding of the procurement process and experience using SAP. A degree in Business, Commerce, or Supply Chain is desirable, as is previous experience with manufacturing and global or regional supplier networks.
