Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer - Automation to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and innovative QA professional with a strong background in both manual and automation testing. The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases across various applications, focusing on functionality, performance, and security.- Design and implement API Testing for RESTful services, ensuring robust backend integration.- Perform Performance Testing and Security Testing to optimize system reliability and protect data integrity.- Conduct UI Testing for mobile and web applications, with a focus on cross-platform compatibility and usability.- Collaborate in Agile environments, working with User Stories and Sprint Planning to align testing activities with business requirements.- Utilize SOQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL for database testing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.- Write and execute automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Jest, TestNG, and JUnit.- Troubleshoot and report issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.- Keep abreast of new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes.
Required Skills
- Languages: TypeScript, Golang, Python- Frontend Technologies: React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3- Databases: SOQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL- Testing Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Jest, TestNG, JUnit- API Testing: Proficient in RESTful API Testing- Testing Types: Performance Testing, Security Testing, Mobile Testing- Methodologies: Strong experience in Agile Methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.- Proficiency in manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications.- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Scrum/ Kanban.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
