Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer - Automation to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and innovative QA professional with a strong background in both manual and automation testing. The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases across various applications, focusing on functionality, performance, and security.
  • Design and implement API Testing for RESTful services, ensuring robust backend integration.
  • Perform Performance Testing and Security Testing to optimize system reliability and protect data integrity.
  • Conduct UI Testing for mobile and web applications, with a focus on cross-platform compatibility and usability.
  • Collaborate in Agile environments, working with User Stories and Sprint Planning to align testing activities with business requirements.
  • Utilize SOQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL for database testing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Write and execute automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Jest, TestNG, and JUnit.
  • Troubleshoot and report issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Keep abreast of new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes.

Required Skills

  • Languages: TypeScript, Golang, Python
  • Frontend Technologies: React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3
  • Databases: SOQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Testing Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Jest, TestNG, JUnit
  • API Testing: Proficient in RESTful API Testing
  • Testing Types: Performance Testing, Security Testing, Mobile Testing
  • Methodologies: Strong experience in Agile Methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Scrum/ Kanban.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
