Role: Digital/Technical Project Manager

Job Level: Mid (4-7 years)


A Little Bit About the Role:

We are seeking a Project Manager to work with one of the world’s largest drinks companies on one of their most premium whisky brands delivering digital UX, design and content updates. We are looking for a digital-native project manager who will ensure smooth running of our Tier 3 and 4 projects end-to-end. In this role, you'll work together with the Senior Project Manager to deliver projects on time and to a high quality, working directly with client stakeholders from global markets.


What we want is a passionate, talented individual who can showcase their skills of managing multiple mid to high complexity projects. You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency and you will have proven yourself as a safe pair of hands on the day-to-day running of multiple prestigious projects.


What You'll be Doing:


Key responsibilities will be as follows:


  • Manage digital projects across multiple channels, including campaigns, new website content, asset adapts and UX/UI design.
  • Triage new briefs promptly and accurately, ensuring client briefs are translated into production briefs with clear actions, deliverables and visual representations of the changes that need to happen.
  • Update or create content matrix documents when new content needs to be updated on the website
  • Attend daily development stand up and inform of project priorities, whilst having the full knowledge of briefs and resources to answer any development questions
  • Ownership and accountability of all assigned projects from beginning to end with clear communication to all parties involved on a regular basis on milestones, targets, goals, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal OLIVER team daily, managing stand-ups and updating board tickets so that each team member knows what their priorities are each day within a sprint.
  • Always manage and mitigate against project risks and dependencies, flagging to other team members if you need support
  • Communicate opportunities promptly with the Client Services team and escalate any issues in a timely manner with SPM when unsure
  • Brief OLIVER’s in house transcreation team on any website translation that needs to take place and manage comms between the two teams and clients
  • Work alongside the Resource Manager to proactively allocate and manage resource for upcoming projects. Produce monthly burn reports
  • Take meeting notes in weekly team meetings and adhoc project meetings and distribute actions to the team
  • Develop a strong partnership with our client services team to ensure client comms are regular, clear and work is collaborative.
  • Own project and estimate set up in OLIVER’s project management software and on our SharePoint servers
  • Act as the primary digital project management contact for smaller local markets, building strong relationships and fostering open communication
  • Brief our development team agency partner, with clear specifications based on design work



What You'll Need:

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, and the ability to personalise these across different cultures to ensure ease of understanding
  • Professional and works well under pressure, able to anticipate and rectify issues before they become a problem
  • Agile Project Management experience for mapping out sprints and owning stand-ups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software.
  • Proficient user of project management tools such as Smartsheets, Resourcing platforms, Azure Devops and other project management tools


You'll Have:

  • Relevant degree
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams
  • Experienced user of project management tools
  • Familiarity with document sharing platforms such as SharePoint, Dropbox etc.
  • Not essential but an advantage:
  • Experience on global FMCG brands
  • Multi-market experience
  • International and multicultural exposure


Good to have:

  • Agency/communication/production industry experience.
  • Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, showcasing a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact.
