Studio LeaderThis position requires an individual to drive the creative vision of a design studio, upholding high standards across all projects. They will oversee concept development, narratives, storyboards, and design strategies, ensuring innovation, spatial intelligence, and technical rigor in deliverables.Main Responsibilities:Creative Direction & Design Excellence:Liaise with team members to develop innovative concepts that meet client needs.Lead the development of project narratives, storyboards, and design strategies.Ensure design quality is elevated at every stage, from concept to handover.Maintain high standards of spatial intelligence and technical expertise in all deliverables.Studio Management & Multi-Project Oversight:Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively.Implement robust planning, scheduling, and review systems to ensure predictable outcomes.Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure seamless project execution.Ensure timely delivery of projects, maintaining clear scope, timelines, and milestones.Maintain proactive oversight on risks, constraints, and client dependencies.Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and excellence within the studio.Client Engagement & Collaboration:Partner with Business Development during pitches and client conversations.Collaborate closely with Client Success Officers to lead client communication and alignment.For select projects, engage directly with clients, shaping expectations and ensuring satisfaction.BUILD strong client relationships based on trust, transparency, and consistent delivery.Team Leadership & Capability Building:Mentor designers to enhance their creative and professional growth.Create a high-performance studio culture driven by collaboration, accountability, and passion for design.Distribute resources effectively across projects, ensuring clarity and focus.Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote strong detailing and documentation.Business Impact & Strategic Growth:Support Business Development in pitches and strategic pursuits.Drive innovation in design thinking, studio processes, and delivery models.Maintain financial discipline across design hours, budgets, and resource utilization.Enhance the design reputation in the region through leadership presence and industry engagement.Requirements:Creative Visionary:Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts.Proven experience leading design projects from concept to delivery.Excellent communication and project management skills.Strategic Thinker:Ability to develop and implement effective project strategies.Strong understanding of design trends, technologies, and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Team Player:Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders.Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
