Job DescriptionThis is a pivotal role that oversees and ensures compliance with regulatory landscapes. It requires a unique blend of legal expertise, regulatory acumen, and leadership capabilities to navigate complex environments. The job holder will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive compliance monitoring programs. They will also conduct training programs on compliance practices and procedures to enhance awareness and sensitize employees to ensure adherence to regulatory norms. The role involves investigating and resolving compliance-related issues, auditing findings, and irregularities. The individual will stay updated on evolving regulatory developments, assess their impact on business operations, and advise stakeholders accordingly. Collaboration with internal teams will be key in devising and enforcing robust compliance strategies. The successful candidate will prepare detailed compliance reports, records, and documents while maintaining meticulous documentation of all compliance metrics and activities. This includes engaging with internal auditors, working with inter/intra-functional teams on identified gaps, and implementing effective corrective actions. Regular reporting to senior management will also be required concerning the monitoring and assessment of regulatory compliance within the company.
