We currently have 8 projects with around 4500 custom designed, furnished homes as well as commercial and institutional buildings, covering a total saleable area of approximately 14 million square feet under construction at Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad. Role Purpose We are looking for a passionate, self-driven individual who has effective analytical & problem solving abilities. The individual should be fully responsible to ensure / deliver Quality at the project sites, in coordination with QA and Operations Teams. Scope Knowledge of Indian / other relevant Codes / Standards required for constructionQuality Management System (QMS)Quality Management System (QMS) documentsInspection and testingVisits, assessments and snaggingTrainingInteractive engagementResponsibility Implementation of QMS, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) / Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) / Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) / Checklists / Work Instructions / Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) / Manuals at project sitesEnsure that the work is executed / delivered as per approved GFC Drawings / applicable Codes / StandardsEnsure implementation & maintenance of all QMS related documents / recordsAssist in creating & updating QMS / Quality related documentsReview Shop Drawings / Method Statements / Reports and other relevant QMS / Quality documents submitted by Contractors / Subcontractors at site as per established protocolEnsure inspection & testing of Materials and Workmanship as per approved ITPRaise and resolve Quality related issues. Follow up with Site Operations Team to close all the open NCRs / ObservationsEnsure implementation of Quality Rating System at siteRegular Site Visits for inspection and assessmentPeriodic visits to RMC Plants / Sources / Factories / Vendors Yards for assessment / approvalsWitness Trial Mix / other tests at Third Party LabsCarry out Stage & Pre-handover Inspections of units to ensure high Quality workmanshipSnagging of finished units with high attention-to-detail to enable QA certificationProvide training to Site Operations / Contractors Teams to create awareness and ensure compliance, to highlight Quality risks and their mitigation, and to share Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for Quality related issuesConduct Project Quality Meetings with Operations Team / Contractor on a weekly / fortnightly / as required basis to discuss & resolve Quality concerns and suggest improvementsEnsure Quality metrics is completed and sent to the QA Manager in a timely mannerEnsure timely generation / completion / communication of Quality Metrics and Reports (Fortnightly Quality Reports (FQR), Material Test Reports, Equipment Calibration Reports etc.), including Observations / NCR’s, as per established protocol.Ensuring effective co-ordination and maintain transparency on Quality related issuesAccountability Helping develop, improve, implement and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS)Work is carried out as per approved Method Statements / GFC Drawings / Codes / Standards / using approved / tested materialsInspection and Testing of materials & workmanship is done as per approved ITPTimely realization of all Quality deliverables and compliances, and closure of Quality issuesEnsuring highest level of Quality on siteYou will create an impact if Construction Quality / Quality Rating scores are visibly improvedDemonstrate a “Do it right first time, every time” approach with a view to ensure zero defectsRequirements Experience: 04 -12 years in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in real estate & high-rise constructionQualification: BE / B. Tech in Civil EngineeringPreferred: Candidate having Quality Control Experience in Residential construction which should include Structural, Finishes and Services WorksShould have an exposure to ISO 9001, and preferably be an Internal Quality AuditorShould have an exposure in Inspection & Testing, and QMS implementationShould have clear / good communication, analytical and presentation skillsShould be proficient in MS-Office
