This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsMin Experience: 3 yearsLocation: BengaluruJobType: full-timeWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Fleet Management systems and a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, clearly documented, and efficiently translated into functional solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.RequirementsKey Responsibilities: Business Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to fleet management operations. Process Analysis & Optimization: Evaluate existing processes and workflows within fleet operations to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to streamline performance. Fleet Management Expertise: Understand the operational, maintenance, and compliance aspects of fleet management systems, including vehicle tracking, asset utilization, fuel management, and preventive maintenance planning. Documentation & Reporting: Develop clear and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams. Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders—including business users, developers, and QA teams—to ensure business needs are fully understood and solutions are aligned with organizational goals. Agile Execution: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Support the product backlog by prioritizing features, defining user stories, and ensuring readiness for development. Testing & Validation: Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by validating that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Identify gaps, track issues, and ensure successful deployment of enhancements. Data Analysis: Utilize data insights to support decision-making, monitor fleet performance metrics, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices, templates, and tools for business analysis within the organization. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Fleet Management, Logistics, or Transportation domains. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Proven experience in requirement elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder management. Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar. Knowledge of fleet management software or telematics systems is a plus. Preferred Attributes: Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent). Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. A proactive mindset with a passion for improving systems and processes through data-driven insights.
