The Senior Manager will partner closely with Product, Risk, Marketing, Finance and technology to deliver lending solutions that meet customer needs while driving balanced economics.This role represents a unique opportunity to leverage applied quantitative experience to directly shape strategy across revolving, installment, and emerging lending products. The ideal candidate will bring a unique balance of technical skills combined with a strategic mindset and the ability to communicate effectively.Responsibilities:Develop advanced analytics, segmentation frameworks, and forecasting tools to understand customer behaviors and trends in key business metrics, e.g. ADB, AR, etc.Partner with Product Management, Product Development Marketing, and Finance to provide analytical input to decisions and evaluate the performance of the commercial lending portfolioPerform ad hoc analyses to identify trends, understand performance drivers, and unlock growth opportunitiesLead creation of automated lending data assets and development of self-service dashboards to monitor lending portfolio performanceServe as subject matter expert for lending data sources and metricsTranslate complex data into actionable business insights that inform product and portfolio decisionsEffectively prioritize demands for data, ad hoc analytics, and reporting from multiple stakeholders, shifting focus as necessary to ensure alignment with business prioritiesLead 2+ high-performing analysts with a high focus on engagement and developmentQualifications:Relevant professional experience including extensive experience in hands-on analytical role(s) defining and tracking key business metrics, performing deep-dive analyses, and influencing business strategies; Lending, card products, or portfolio analytics experience is a plus.Extensive experience using cloud-based analytical tools, querying languages, and visualization software (e.g., SQL, Python, Databricks, Tableau)Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving practical problemsProven track record effectively managing priorities, presenting technical findings to non-technical audiences, and independently leading end-to-end analytical projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders, and to explain business processes, concepts, and issues to technical resourcesStrong curiosity and initiative in tackling complex business analysis; dives deeply into the data, relentlessly pursues its meaning, and how these insights can drive business performanceGood understanding of lending mechanics and economics of lending.Bachelor's degree; Advanced degrees in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc.) preferredWe back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
