Job Overview:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing which leads to drive sales in international markets. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with prior experience in cold calling and the ability to engage prospects across different cultures and geographies. Your efforts will set the stage for our Account Executive team to convert prospects into customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling & Lead Generation:Proactive prospects and cold-call potential lead in international markets (Europe, APAC, North America, etc.) through phone, email, and social outreach.
  • Leverage local knowledge and cultural nuances to effectively communicate with prospects across diverse regions and industries.
  • Research and identify key decision-makers at target companies using a variety of sources such as LinkedIn, business databases, and industry reports.
  • Lead Qualification:Qualify inbound leads and identify outbound prospects based on ideal customer profiles (ICP) in international regions.
  • Assess the needs, budget, and timeline of prospects, determining their fit for our products/services.
  • Schedule meetings or demos for the Account Executive team with qualified leads.
  • International Market Expertise:Understand regional market dynamics, pain points, and buyer behavior across key international regions.
  • Adapt messaging and outreach strategies based on cultural differences and the nuances of different markets.
  • Monitor and track competitor activities in international regions to provide insights into lead generation strategies.
  • Sales Process & Collaboration:Use CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Freshsales etc.) to log interactions, manage prospects, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing teams to refine targeting, messaging, and strategies for international outreach.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of campaigns, lead quality, and customer insights from international markets.
  • Performance & Target Achievement:Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly lead generation and qualification targets.
  • Maintain a high level of outbound activity (calls, emails, social networks) to ensure a robust pipeline.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation, preferably in an international B2B sales environment.Familiarity with international markets and experience working with customers from different countries/regions (e.g., South Africa, Philippines and USA).
  • Skills:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence prospects in various cultural contexts.
  • Proven track record in cold calling, overcoming objections, and setting up qualified meetings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to track and manage sales activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other social selling platforms is a plus.
  • Cultural Sensitivity:Comfortable navigating diverse cultural nuances and working with international prospects from various regions and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of specific international markets or regions (e.g., familiarity with the EMEA, APAC, LATAM, or North American market).
  • Experience working with SaaS, technology, or other complex solutions.
