Position : Computer & ICT Educator
Location: Dalhousie Public School, Siswan, New Chandigarh
Start Date: 1 March 2025

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Computer & ICT educator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, a love for learning, and a commitment to helping students develop skills as global digital citizens.
Role Overview:
- A strong knowledge and understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the field of computer science, computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and software engineering principles.
- The ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is understandable to students of all ages and abilities, across various grade levels.
- The ability to develop engaging and effective lesson plans and assessments that align with the curriculum and promote hands-on learning.
- Introduce students to coding, programming, and other technology.
- A commitment to creating a safe and productive online environment, teaching students about internet safety, ethics, and responsible use of technology.
- Assess student progress through on going assignments and projects.
- Maintain and troubleshoot classroom computers and software.
- Collaborate with teachers of other subjects to for interdisciplinary learning.
We Are Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related field.
- B.Ed. or any other teaching certification.
- Prior experience of 5-7 years in teaching computer science to school students.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and coding languages.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and online learning platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching to make technology concepts accessible and fun for students and other teachers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to teach digital citizenship skills and integrate technology into all classrooms.
