You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to deliver high-quality Shopify stores and features. Ultimately, your work will directly impact the company's e-commerce success and customer engagement. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and applications.Implement best practices in design and development for optimal user experience.Work closely with designers to translate design layouts into functional Shopify sites.Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store functionality.Optimize the online store performance, speed, and scalability.Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO strategies.Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high quality and functionality.Provide ongoing support and maintenance of Shopify stores.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in Shopify and e-commerce technologies.Train and support staff in utilizing Shopify features and best practices.Participate in project planning and requirement gathering sessions.Develop documentation for processes and code standards.Manage and organize workflows effectively using version control systems.Review and improve existing Shopify implementations.Gather and analyze user feedback to inform future enhancements. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role.Extensive knowledge of Shopify API and Liquid templating language.Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with version control systems, especially Git.Understanding of responsive web design principles.Familiarity with SEO best practices and strategies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Experience with e-commerce best practices.Portfolio demonstrating previous Shopify projects is a plus.Knowledge of other programming languages like Ruby or PHP is an advantage.Certifications related to web development or e-commerce would be beneficial.A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
