Position: SDE-II (Shopify Developer) Location: Bengaluru About Us: We are a full-service Shopify-focused eCommerce agency and a featured official Shopify Plus service partner committed to building and driving growth for high-growth brands. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. Your role will involve working closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and visually appealing online stores. If you are a skilled developer with a passion for e-commerce and a strong understanding of Shopify, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites. - Extending theme’s functionality for custom cart, custom filters or similar requirements. - Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures. - Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand the key problem and implement the solution with the right approach. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. - Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Required Skills: - Experience with any of the front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc. - Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async javascript. - Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI). - Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues. - Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. - Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Qualification: - 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience with Shopify development is advantageous. - Strong knowledge of shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous - Portfolio of past projects demonstrating the required skills and experience. Nice-to-Have: - Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify's app ecosystem. - Experience with API testing and third-party integrations (e.g.,
