The successful candidate will contribute significantly to project success and the overall competitiveness of the company in the olefins market.Key ResponsibilitiesLead projects focused on the development and optimization of olefin production processes.Conduct detailed technical analyses to improve operational efficiency.Develop and implement innovative solutions to process challenges.Collaborate with R&D to transition new technologies from lab to production.Monitor and evaluate safety protocols within chemical operations.Train and mentor junior technologists and team members.Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for manufacturing issues.Engage in cross-functional teamwork to align objectives and strategies.Support compliance with environmental and health regulations.Analyze process data to assess and enhance product quality.Participate in strategic planning and technology road-mapping.Foster relationships with suppliers for materials related to olefin production.Stay informed about market trends and competitor innovations.Implement continuous improvement initiatives targeting operational excellence.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in olefinic chemical processes.Proven experience in process optimization and technical project leadership.Strong background in research and development within the chemical sector.Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance related to chemicals.Experience in using data analysis tools for process improvement.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen, HYSIS).Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in olefin chemistry.Willingness to travel as required for project needs.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Commitment to continuous professional development.
