Role Description (Assistant Manager -Logistics Sales)


The Sales Logistics Manager will be responsible for Plan and implement sales strategies that will gain business and effectively manage the logistics business of organization .

The basic and the most important step are to identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers

To Plan, Design, Develop and Implement different sales activities by researching the customer's needs and requirements.

To ensure that all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed Budgets, Volume, Sales and within the given time scales.

Negotiating the Sale Terms and Meeting Sales Targets.

Determine current rates in the market place offered by competitors

Act as a liaison between the customers and operations staff.

Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution

To develop strong business relationships within all levels of the company and with potential and existing client

work Experience with Freight forwarders or shipping lines is must

Self-Confident and Outgoing.

Have strong interpersonal communication skills to develop healthy, professional relationships with the clients and vendors demonstrated by exceptional leadership quality

A good organizer.

Persuasive and a good negotiator.

Target Oriented.

Strong Communication skills and Convincing skills

Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets Plan and implement sales strategies that will gain business and effectively manage the logistics business of organization .


Qualifications

  • Experience in Sales and Supply Chain Management
  • Proficiency in Logistics Management
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures
